Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated ED RN specializing in emergency department care for a travel assignment in Watertown, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses with a passion for high-stakes environments, offering 13-week contracts with a stable workweek guarantee. The role requires professionals experienced in MEDITECH with prior travel experience.

Key responsibilities of the ED RN include:

• Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Provide quality patient care and assess patient's clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
• Recognize safety issues and implement safe patient movement protocols
• Function well in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills
• Exhibit strong leadership and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
• Assume duties as a charge nurse if required
• Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Requirements of the ED RN include:

• Current NYS RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Experience with MEDITECH
• Previous travel experience
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Critical Care and charge experience preferred
• Completion of lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
• Defibrillation certification within 6 months of employment
• IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation
