Certified Nursing Assistant

Carthage Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. CNAs assist with daily living activities, mobility, hygiene, and nourishment while monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition. You'll collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and other team members to deliver person-centered care that promotes dignity, comfort, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff
• Support residents during meals, including feeding and monitoring dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulations
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other team members to support care plans
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
