East River Contracting is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Concrete and Framing Project Managers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced construction environment and enjoys keeping projects organized, moving forward, and running smoothly from the office to the field.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating documentation, tracking costs, supporting project logistics, and serving as a communication bridge between project managers, accounting, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to Project Managers and provide daily project support
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Create and track Purchase Orders (POs) and Change Orders (COs)
  • Approve credit card purchases and invoices
  • Order concrete and coordinate material deliveries
  • Handle permitting, licenses, and TERO paperwork
  • Book hotels and travel accommodations for field staff
  • Upload and distribute current plans and drawings to Procore
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with construction workflows and documentation (concrete/framing preferred)
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and office software
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow‑through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
