Your day as a Head Start Early Childhood Teacher kicks off with a warm welcome and a classroom that’s ready for discovery. You guide hands-on moments that build language, social connection, motor development, and thinking skills—then shift gears to small-group and individual activities that keep every child engaged. Between transitions, you fine-tune upcoming lessons, line up local businesses, professionals, or special guests to bring learning to life, and refresh materials so the room stays dynamic.
