Agricultural Building Envelope Design & Project Manager; SIPs

Creative Panel Solutions (CPS) is seeking an Agricultural Building Envelope Design & Project Manager to own agricultural building packages from concept through completion. Agriculture is the primary focus of this role, with SIP projects making up a significant portion of the workload.

This role works directly with customers, sales, purchasing, engineering, and production to define building envelopes, produce accurate takeoffs, manage timelines, and ensure projects move smoothly from quote to delivery.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands how agricultural buildings actually go together—not a generic PM or purely theoretical engineering position.

• Agricultural building envelope packages (walls, liners, SIPs, trims, accessories)
• SIP layouts and coordination where applicable
• Envelope takeoffs and scope definition
• Project timelines from sales handoff to completion
• Customer coordination on technical scope

• Work directly with ag customers and sales team to define complete building envelopes
• Support sales with technical input during quoting
• Develop layouts and generate accurate takeoffs
• Coordinate engineering reviews and revisions
• Manage project schedules, milestones, and scope changes
• Work closely with purchasing and production to ensure buildable packages

• Experience with agricultural buildings, SIPs, trusses, or building envelope systems
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings independently
• Comfortable owning projects and working directly with customers
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven

PE license not required. Revit a plus but not required.

Candidates without agricultural building or building envelope experience are unlikely to be a good fit.

• Expertise in Design Management and knowledge of building envelope solutions, particularly in Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).
• Proficiency in Project Management, Project Planning, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong skills in Budgeting and cost control to ensure accurate financial oversight of projects.
• Excellent Communication skills for effectively coordinating between team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of project outcomes.
• Previous experience in the construction or agricultural industry is an advantage.
