POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of apartment and townhome communities with guidance from the Maintenance Technician. Additionally, this person is responsible for groundskeeping and cleaning duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of property management and marked ability to analyze and respond to site problems.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Working knowledge of fair housing regulations.
- Working knowledge of electricity and considerable mechanical ability to analyze equipment and their function and repair.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding information and situations regarding tenants, prospects, the organization, or community partners.
- Must have Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
