• Assist the Plant Operator with daily maintenance, repairs and housekeeping needs at asphalt plants.
• Direct truck drivers delivering materials to ensure safe and efficient plant flow.
• Perform cleaning tasks and equipment upkeep to maintain safe, organized work areas.
• Prepare equipment and plant components for relocation or transport when required.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization and adherence to safety requirements.
• Follow supervisor instructions closely and complete tasks with attention to detail.

• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly work extended or overtime hours depending on project needs.
• Travel throughout Central & Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and the Eastern Dakotas.

• Individuals who work safely and have the courage to speak up when unsafe behavior or conditions arise.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people and positions.
• Ability to problem solve and address issues quickly as they arise.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to support repair and maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness and reliable plant operations.
• Willingness to travel and float between various plant locations based on business needs.
