, a precision metal fabrication and manufacturing company, is seeking a CNC Laser Operator / Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Laser Operator
, you will be part of the production team supporting fabrication and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
CNC Laser Operator / Machine Operator
Location:
Watertown SD
Pay Range: 19.00 or More(DOE) What’s the Job?
- Set up and operate CNC laser equipment to cut sheet and plate steel according to blueprints and work orders
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
- Load programs, stage materials, and make machine adjustments to maintain tolerance and quality standards
- Complete routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning, fluid checks, and consumable changes
- Move, tag, and stage finished material while completing required production and quality documentation
- Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and production documentation accurately
- Basic math, computer, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, steel materials, and quality standards (SPC preferred)
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment (laser, CNC, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Pay Range: 19.00/hr or more(DOE)
- Shift:
- 2nd shift - 3 pm - 1: am (M-F)
- Weekends - 6 am - 6 pm (F-Su)
