Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Backroad Construction is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position working on residential construction projects with a focus on quality craftsmanship and dependable work.

• $20-$27 per hour, based on experience
• Profit sharing
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid time off
• Monday-Friday schedule with no required weekend work
• 8- or 10-hour shifts
• Overtime available

• Perform framing, stair, door, window, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry work
• Read and work from plans, prints, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
• Complete finish work and millwork with attention to detail
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
• Identify problems and determine practical solutions on the job
• Work independently while also supporting the project team

• Previous carpentry or construction experience
• Ability to perform a variety of carpentry tasks
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to read plans and follow project specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
