Backroad Construction is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position working on residential construction projects with a focus on quality craftsmanship and dependable work.
Compensation & Benefits- $20-$27 per hour, based on experience
- Profit sharing
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off
- Monday-Friday schedule with no required weekend work
- 8- or 10-hour shifts
- Overtime available
- Perform framing, stair, door, window, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry work
- Read and work from plans, prints, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
- Complete finish work and millwork with attention to detail
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Identify problems and determine practical solutions on the job
- Work independently while also supporting the project team
- Previous carpentry or construction experience
- Ability to perform a variety of carpentry tasks
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read plans and follow project specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
