Job: Maintenance Tech
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday
- Thursday.
Overtime as assigned.
Job Summary: This position will provide regular upkeep of B & G Industries, Inc. keeping the facility operating and repairing a wide range of repair tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance around the building to prevent issues.
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage.
- Works on damaged electrical wiring so no shortages occur.
- Maintain the building HVAC system to keep the facility functioning properly.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Must have plumbing, electrical and carpentry repair knowledge.
- Attention to detail to ensure all maintenance jobs are completed.
- Must have interpersonal skills to interact with employees.
Physical requirements:
- Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active with different tasks.
- May have to lift up-to 50 lbs.
