You will learn skills in robotic welding and learn to use calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment. Fisher Barton values our 3C’s Culture, working every day to execute Customer Excellence, A Culture of Fairness, and Community Involvement.
You will do this by:
- Adhering to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations and business code of ethics
- Producing assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitively lifting and placing metal work pieces and sheets into fixtures manually and repetitively, removing completed assemblies
- Reading control plans and prints to determine specifications, such as parts and fixtures to be used, placement of parts, dimensions and tolerances, proper labeling of parts, etc.
- Accurately completing all required functions to ensure only quality product is produced and shipped to customers
- Safely completing finishing functions such as grinding, sanding, etc.
- Performing operator maintenance and/or 5S housekeeping

Required Qualifications:
- Basic math skills to analyze information and measuring equipment
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical | Visual Demands:
- Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
- Able to sit, stand, squat and bend
- Reach overhead with one or both arms
- Able to work quickly and swiftly with large, heavy machinery and products
- Repetitive movement of lifting and placing parts on machines / up to 15 pounds
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds

- Manufacturing:
Loud (Examples: metal can, manufacturing department, large earth moving equipment) - The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of environmental conditions.

Work Location: 1040 S 12th Street | Watertown, WI
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday to Thursday with availability to work overtime
