Job Description Summary

Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Commercial. As an outside sales representative for Sunbelt Rentals Climate Control Service, you will be responsible for renting and selling portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and temporary heaters within an assigned territory. You will cultivate existing accounts and develop new ones, working closely with the General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turn‑key solutions utilizing Sunbelt's wide array of equipment and services.

Collaboration with Sales Reps and Managers across the organization will be essential to maximizing penetration within both new and existing customer bases.

• Rent and sell a diverse line of portable HVAC and commercial equipment within the assigned territory.
• Cultivate and expand existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities.
• Partner with the General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to deliver comprehensive, turn‑key solutions to customers.
• Coordinate with Sales Reps and Managers to maximize growth and market penetration.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience in equipment rental or the HVAC industry.
• At least 2 years of direct sales experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license in good standing and proof of auto insurance.
• Project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Strong sales track record and experience with solution‑selling approaches.
• High‑volume sales experience.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
