Painter Position

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for executing high-quality painting and finishing work in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory, construction techniques, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

Shift - 1st 5:30AM-1:30PM M-Fri

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
• Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision and care.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry as needed to enhance the final appearance of painted surfaces.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; utilize hand tools and power tools safely.
• Assist in renovation and restoration projects by applying appropriate painting techniques.
• Provide maintenance services related to painting tasks as required.

• Proven experience in construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Knowledge of color theory and its application in various environments.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
• Experience with plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry work, and industrial painting is desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Experience with fixture installation and renovation tasks is beneficial.
• Maintenance person experience or carpentry skills are an advantage for this role.
