Overview
Accounts Receivable Specialist - Hybrid Role
We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support billing, cash application, collections, and month‑end activities in a manufacturing environment. This role works with Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Responsibilities- Prepare and issue customer invoices; resolve billing discrepancies
- Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, lockbox) and maintain accurate AR aging
- Follow up on past‑due accounts and communicate with customers on payment issues
- Support month‑end close, aging reports, reconciliations, and audit requests
- Maintain AR procedures, controls, and documentation; support process improvements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years AR experience; manufacturing experience helpful
- ERP experience (Epicor or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and Excel proficiency
