STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Primary responsibilities will include preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and providing support as necessary to the Company’s tax department. The position will require proficiency with Quick Books software, Microsoft excel and word. Minimum of 2 years of relevant tax preparation experience is required to qualify for this position. An accounting degree or other relevant designation would be helpful but is not essential.

Hour requirements would be 24-40 per week between January and April. Nicholson, Michaud and Company offers a very competitive pay structure and will be dependent upon level of experience.

Primary responsibilities will include preparation of corporate and personal tax returns, providing key support on various audit and review engagements including planning, testing, and preparation of GAAP financial statements, and providing support as necessary in bookkeeping and payroll departments. Travel requirements will be minimal. The position will require proficiency with Quick Books software, Microsoft excel and word. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required to qualify for this position.
