Waterville, Maine: A growing regional healthcare organization is opening an impressive new combo Primary Care/Urgent Care practice in Waterville in December! We seek another experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their PRIMARY CARE crew. Practitioners certified for Adult or Family Medicine are encouraged to apply.
Become part of the inaugural clinical team in a spacious new 12,500-square-foot freestanding facility. The thoughtfully designed Primary Care space features big, comfortable exam rooms, a large provider workspace, onsite lab and imaging services, and procedure rooms. With the adjacent Urgent Care service, patients can easily move between the two sides of the practice as appropriate – from Primary Care to Urgent Care for procedures, or from Urgent Care to connect with a Primary Care provider for ongoing care.
Enjoy a refreshing approach to outpatient medicine via a primary care model designed around smaller patient panels, longer appointments, strong clinical support and meaningful provider-patient relationships. Patient panels are intentionally capped at about 1,200, roughly half the volume of a traditional practice, and visits are booked for 30- or 60-minute blocks.
You will have support from a dedicated Medical Assistant along with triage nurses, referral coordinators, onsite pharmacists and other clinical and administrative professionals. Innovative technology, including AI-assisted documentation, further reduces administrative burdens so you can devote more of your energy to patient care.
Practice as part of a collaborative team committed to proactive, preventive care. This value-based model emphasizes access, quality, continuity and improved long-term outcomes. Enjoy a positive, supportive culture in which providers and staff are encouraged to contribute ideas as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
