- Develop and implement lessons that are relevant, culturally responsive, and aligned with Maine Learning.
- Foster meaningful connections with students to support their overall well-being and academic progression.
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and school staff to support student success.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and the broader school community.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
- Valid Maine teaching certification in K-3 or K-8 (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignments.
- Successful prior teaching experience.
