We are seeking a collaborative and organized IEP Coordinator to support students in Grades 6–12. This role will coordinate IEP development and implementation, collaborate with families and staff, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with special education requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and passionate advocate for student success.

- Collaborate with special education case managers and school staff;
- Have proficient knowledge of IEP and RTI processes;
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills;
- Serve as the lead contact for case managers and staff regarding current issues in special education; provide support to Special Education Teachers.
- Oversee follow-up paperwork in collaboration with case managers to ensure compliance of state and federal mandates;
- Monitor case manager compliance for IEP’s, evaluations, and paperwork timelines;
- Attend and serve as designated administrator for annual and triennial IEP meetings (shared with administration) and others as assigned by directors;
- Write and draft written notices to be reviewed and submitted by the case managers, obtain consents and releases to maintain compliant special education records for meetings attended;
- Experience writing IEP goals related to targeted standards;
- Assist with scheduling of IEP meetings in collaboration with secretarial staff at their grade level span (K-5 or 6-12);
- Consult on a regular basis with Director and Assistant Directors for Special Services;
- Oversee Special Education Programing In conjunction with Building/District Administrators
- Other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Assistant Directors of Special Services
- Appropriate Department of Education Certification
- Experience working with children in a school setting
- Training or experience in the application of Special Education
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
