Floating Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Senior Living Communities

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will float to facilities in Augusta, Hallowell, and Waterville.

  • Floating across multiple senior living communities.
  • Competitive rate: $28/hr – $32/hr.
  • Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.

Responsibilities and Qualifications for PTA
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings.
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff.
  • Maintain current PTA license or be eligible.
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills:
    Outlook, Word, Excel, electronic documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Work well in a team setting.
  • Be flexible with hours.
Rehab Director / Speech Language Pathologist

This position is in the sub‑acute/skilled nursing rehab department.

Responsibilities and Qualifications for Rehab Director / SLP
  • Ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods, and data.
  • Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision.
  • Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor.
  • Provide speech therapy services as needed.
  • Be licensed or eligible as a speech therapist in the state of employment.
  • Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
  • Experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department is ideal.
