• Deliver physical therapy services under licensed PT supervision, focusing on functional goals for adults in LTAC/SNF care
• Implement and adjust treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, mobility training, and transfer techniques
• Document patient progress, changes in status, and response to therapy in established medical records
• Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient safety during activities, manage assistive devices, and adapt interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe equipment use to support ongoing recovery

• Active Maine Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program (Associate degree)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred; LTAC, acute care, or SNF settings advised
• Ability to meet 35 hours per week and work a day shift; willingness to travel for temporary assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to adapt to a LTAC/SNF environment
