** Days | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMAs a Medical Records Technician, you'll be an essential part of our Health Information team, ensuring medical records are accurate, secure, and accessible. Your work directly supports patient safety, compliance, and seamless care coordination across the organization.
** What You'll Do:
*** Abstracts, copies, and mails pertinent portions of medical records while ensuring patient confidentiality
* Assembles, analyzes, and maintains complete medical records. Creates or reactivates retired/stored records
* Files medical records accurately and promptly
* Assists with reviewing requests for release of medical information for proper authorization as needed
* Maintain and organize electronic health records (EHRs) and paper documents
* Process patient admission and discharge records
* Analyze patient records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with organizational guidelines
* Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure documentation standards are met
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations

* Professional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Preferred knowledge of medical terminology
* Experience working with EHR systems and Microsoft programs
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
