As a founding Advanced Practice Provider in our new Waterville, Maine office, you will help shape a modern, patient‑centered primary care practice from the ground up. You’ll guide team‑based care, influence clinical workflows, and play a key role in building a model that elevates advanced practice leadership and transforms how care is delivered in our community.

Your Impact

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate/Physician Assistant (PA) in our APC clinics, you will:

  • Deliver personalized, patient‑centered care with lower panel sizes, longer visits, and reduced administrative burden.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical pharmacists, nurses, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and medical assistants, to provide holistic care.
  • Focus on value‑based care principles to proactively educate, navigate, and support patients through their healthcare journey.
  • Contribute to the community by promoting and representing the APC clinics in public and professional settings.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and compliance, ensuring seamless, efficient patient care.
Who You Are
  • Education, Licensure, &

    Certifications:

    • Holds a master's degree and certification as a Physician Associate/Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
    • Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
      American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online only classes.
  • Demonstrated prior experience: Has experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or ambulatory care settings (preferred).
  • Compassionate, authentic, and patient focused: Support patients through kindness; demonstrating understanding for others and contributing to the creating a community of belonging.
  • Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal): Foreshadows and elevates concerns as they arise, unafraid of professional directness both with colleagues and patients.
  • Trustworthy: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Effective communicator and cross collaborator: Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent team player: Enjoys collaborating with others and being a part of a strong team dynamic.
  • Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with Athena or ability to learn.
