PositionJob Title:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate at Elmwood Primary Care, a hospital‑employed outpatient family medicine practice located in Waterville, Maine.
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan.
- Manage your own patient panel with autonomy and support.
- Deliver team‑based care in coordination with interdisciplinary groups.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including medical staff, care managers, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and licensed clinical social workers.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- NP or PA certification.
- Maine medical licensure (or eligibility).
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care.
- New graduates with substantial related experience will be considered.
- Certification:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) recognized by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
- Four‑day clinical workweek with one dedicated administrative day, supporting work‑life balance.
- Call responsibility by phone only, triaged prior to visits.
