Overview

Maine Health Cardiology is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant/Assistant (PA) to join our team of providers in Augusta and Waterville, Maine. This is a split position working 2 days a week in each location. New grads will be considered.

Schedule:

Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 4-day work week. No nights or weekends. Outpatient only.

Position Details

Join a dynamic team of providers, physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) with outstanding support staff. Our practice is part of Maine Health Cardiology, a growing, integrated practice of over 45 cardiologists with close ties to Maine Medical Center and regional hospitals to deliver coordinated care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care within the cardiology outpatient setting in collaboration with physicians and APPs.
  • Participate in an integrated care network across Maine Health facilities to deliver high-quality cardiovascular services.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Two years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
