Job Summary

Maine General Health is seeking an experienced and collaborative Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team as an Endoscopy Nurse Supervisor. In this leadership role, you'll support a high-performing team, foster a positive and patient-centered culture, and help ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and exceptional care in our outpatient endoscopy department. Hours:

Part-time (36 hours/week)

• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Responds to staff requests for assistance with providing or managing direct patient care in complex or difficult matters.
• Determines, coordinates, and monitors the flow of patients between units to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet service-level objectives.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
• Coordinates patient care services with staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Responds to complaints/conflicts and manages through established channels.
• Makes administrative decisions in the absence of the Department Manager/Director.

• Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license, or the ability to obtain one in a timely manner.
• Previous endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, procedural, or outpatient nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory, charge nurse, or other nursing leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building abilities.
