Role Overview
This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for evaluating patients/residents, contributing to assessments and care plans, administering medications and treatments, and supervising unlicensed staff to ensure effective patient care.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients/residents and report changes in condition.
- Assist with nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
- Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.
- Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program.
- Currently licensed or pending licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.
- Strong clinical assessment and observation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Deliver efficient, effective nursing care to improve clinical outcomes.
- Ensure patient and family satisfaction through attentive care.
- Adhere to physician orders and facility protocols.
