Job DescriptionThayer Internal Medicine, a well-established and highly respected outpatient practice within Maine General Medical Center, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their exceptional care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in the growing city of Waterville, Maine, a community rich with dining, shopping, outdoor recreation, and cultural experiences.
About the OpportunityIf you have a background in primary care, enjoy variety in your day, value teamwork, and are passionate about delivering high quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care, this role may be an excellent fit. As a provider in this practice, you will:
- A full-time schedule consisting of 32 hours of direct patient care and 8 hours of administrative time each week
- Deliver team-based care in close collaboration with physicians, care managers, and support staff
- Provide a full range of outpatient internal medicine services
- Participate in call rotation with other medical staff
While direct NP/PA clinical experience in primary care is strongly preferred, new graduates with significant related experience are encouraged to apply.
