We are seeking a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a Lead Provider in Waterville, ME. This is a unique leadership opportunity for an experienced APP who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while mentoring and guiding clinical staff in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
As the clinical leader of the site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring clinical excellence, supporting new graduate providers, and fostering a collaborative team culture that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and outstanding patient outcomes.
Position Overview:
- Delivering comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages
- Serving as the clinical leader for all on-site clinical staff
- Mentoring and supporting new graduate NPs/PAs and allied healthcare professional
- Promoting evidence-based practice and high clinical standards
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical protocols
Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Certification by a recognized NP or PA certifying body
- Active Maine license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Must have and maintain an unrestricted DEA license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- $80.00 – $85.00 per hour
