Salary Range $58.00 - $88.00 Hourly

Assistance Plus is seeking a Psychiatric Prescriber to join their growing team! The Psychiatric Prescriber will have the primary responsibility of providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management to individuals with behavioral health needs. The Psychiatric Prescriber will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to adults, children, and/or adolescents in an outpatient setting. The Psychiatric Prescriber will provide psychoeducation to clients regarding the medications being prescribed and potential side effects that might occur.

This can be a part time, full time, or contract position.

Position Requirements:

• Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine drivers license are required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited PMHNP program OR Master's degree from a Physician's Assistant program OR Doctorate of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine with a specialization in psychiatric care.
• Professional Licensure (MD, DO, APRN, NP or PMHNP, or PA or PA-C)
• DEA License
• Sixty (60) hours of education regarding the treatment of Substance Use Disorders in the last five years
• Intermediate level computer experience

Starting pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
