Overview
Experienced Plant Fitter/Mechanic required for full-time work with a construction company based in St Albans. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a large fleet of modern plant machinery.
- Hitachi & Kobelco tracked excavators (3 to 30 tonnes)
- Dumpers (2 to 9 tonnes)
- Workshop-based maintenance and attending site breakdowns when required.
- Engine repairs and servicing
- Tracks and undercarriage work
- Hydraulics and rams
- General plant maintenance and diagnostics
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter/Mechanic
- Strong track record with previous employers
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- PAYE or self-employed options available
- Company van and fuel card
- Holiday pay and pension (for PAYE)
- Modern fleet and equipment
£27.00 per hour
10-hour working days with 2 breaks. Company van, fuel card, holidays, pension
