Carpentry Duties

• Installing timber frames, floor joists, roof trusses, and stud walls.
• Constructing and fitting structural timber components.
• Installing staircases, door linings, and window frames.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber materials accurately.
• Ensuring all work meets building regulations and site standards.

• Installing and repairing roof structures and timber roofing systems.
• Fitting rafters, battens, fascia boards, soffits, and roof coverings.
• Assisting with tile, slate, and flat roofing installations.
• Carrying out roof maintenance and repairs.
• Identifying and resolving roofing defects and structural issues.
• Working safely at height using appropriate access equipment.
