British Engineering Services Group is a leading end‑to‑end risk management solutions provider in the UK and Ireland. We focus on electrical safety, delivering Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and essential inspections for clients, including electric vehicle charging solutions.

As an Electrical Remedial Engineer, you will conduct electrical testing and remedial work across the social housing industry in the North West and Yorkshire area, including domestic and communal properties.

• Perform high‑quality electrical repairs and remedial works following inspections, such as distribution board changes, RCDs and socket changes.
• Participate in small projects such as EV installations.
• Maintain compliance with company standards, health and safety policies, and procedures.
• Use CRM and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation.
• Communicate with customers and supply‑chain partners, ensuring excellent service.
• Manage van stocks and provide information to improve first‑time fixes.

• Starting salary of £43,000 with realistic earnings up to £50,000.

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical installation work (e.g., C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (2394 / 2395).
• Positive, diverse and inclusive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
• Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work overtime during busy periods.
• Availability to work nights one week each month.
• Hard‑working, conscientious electrician committed to delivering excellent service.
• Good computer literacy.
• Full driving licence.
