Winder CNA Training is a state-accredited Certified Nursing Assistant licensure school. Our curriculum combines online blended learning with hands‑on instruction. Students complete their online coursework and follow up with 40 hours of skills/lab instruction and 24 hours of clinical evaluations.
Job Description Winder CNA Training is seeking an LPN or RN Nurse Instructor – PRN. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor will deliver instruction according to our curriculum designed to help students build the knowledge and clinical skills needed to pass the Georgia CNA licensing exam. Instructors must be able to work effectively with students from diverse socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. This role involves teaching 40 hours of classroom skills lab instruction and conducting 24 hours of clinical site evaluations.
Employment is contracted per class.
Rate of Pay
- Negotiable per hour
- Paid a bank of hours for each course
- PRN position: needed roughly every two weeks for a new group of students
- Course frequency may vary and can be postponed
Specific Responsibilities
Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the American Red Cross Blended Learning Program Skills Manual, using the companion instructor’s guide.Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at helping students obtain the CNA license.Maintain accurate records on all students, including attendance records, schedules, and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.Evaluate and document students’ progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained.Communicate effectively with students and all affiliated parties, including staff at clinical training facilities, school staff, and prospective employers.Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care.Maintain a monthly timesheet and submit it by required deadlines.Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Owner.Minimum Qualifications
Must hold an active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and not be subject to any current disciplinary action.Must have at least two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in Long Term Care.Upon hire, the applicant must complete the Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session.Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in a clinical setting.Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.Flexibility to work days, and eventually nights and evenings on occasion.Experience

License/Certification
