We are seeking a Staff Structural Engineer to join our team in Watkinsville, GA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands‑on with existing structures, contribute to design projects, and gain leadership experience in a collaborative, client‑focused environment. The Staff Engineer will perform structural assessments, develop design solutions, produce technical reports, assist with proposals, and support client management. • Lead and assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance
• Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications under guidance from senior engineers
• Conduct site visits for data collection, condition assessments, inspections, and testing during construction
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design challenges
• Utilize engineering software including AutoCAD, Enercalc, Sky Civ, Tekla Tedds, Excel, and others
• Participate in project meetings and maintain clear documentation and communication
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry codes, standards, and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (PE not required).
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis, design, and technical writing.
• Experience with CAD and structural engineering software.
• Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work on‑site.
• Knowledge of engineering software tools, technical standards, and regulations relevant to the industry.
• Experience in team collaboration, client communication, and providing technical mentorship.
