Clinical Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

Provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.

Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Saturdays as needed.

Watkinsville, GA and may float to other clinics as needed.

• Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and hold an Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
• Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
• Have a BLS or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

• Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
• Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development as needed.
• Work as a team member with all members of PIS, working alongside nurses and other NPs/MDs.
• Perform nursing functions as needed.
• Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
• Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.

The employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
