Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-Call Requirement: One total week per month (may be split; compensated)
Coverage Areas- Watkinsville and surrounding areas
Estimated Annual Salary: $85,000 – $95,000
Compensation reflects estimated annual earnings for full-time status.
Additional compensation provided for on-call coverage.
Position OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Field Nurse to support home health patients. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the home setting while managing patient cases and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The RN Field Nurse plays a vital role in promoting patient independence, safety, and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and individualized care plans
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate plans of care
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as clinically indicated
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and treatment plans
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Promote patient independence and overall quality of life
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Minimum of one (1) year of Registered Nurse experience
- Home health experience preferred, but not required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Ability to travel to patient homes within the assigned coverage area
