CTE Business and Math Teacher~ Diamond Technology Institute

Under the direction of the site administrator, structures, implements, and manages appropriate educational activities to provide entry-level career technical skills to students. Nature and scope plan, prepare, implement, monitor, and evaluate a quality competency-based Career Technical Education Technology (CTE) Program leading to the development of student skills sufficient to qualify for entry-level employment and/or post-secondary education using effective instruction with all students.

Applicants must possess or be eligible for a California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential in the Business and Finance sector or equivalent. Must have at least 3 years of industry experience in business, one year of which must be within the last 3 years to satisfy the eligibility requirement. A Single Subject Mathematics Credential or strong mathematics background is preferred, with the ability to support students in applied and integrated math concepts.

Industry experience in business, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, or related fields is highly desirable as well as a Masters in business for meeting Cabrillo College Dual Enrollment minimum qualifications. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for project-based learning, student engagement, and preparing students for college, career, and real-world success.
