Engineer III

General Summary

This position is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for projects of varying sizes to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting, and job costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Manage project engineering assignments and activities to meet company, contract, and schedule requirements.
• Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, design interpretation, construction methods, resolution of design conflicts, and constructability reviews.
• Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and work controlling documents.
• Represent company, project, or department during client and project management meetings.
• Develop and maintain all job reporting and logs to ensure project compliance.
• Supervise, direct, and mentor project staff to ensure development and adherence to project standards.

Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of technical training and experience will be considered.

Minimum of 4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.

• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience with AGTEK take-off and Primavera scheduling software.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and an in-depth understanding of interdependence among functional units.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.

Regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands for a computer keyboard. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, reaching with hands and arms. Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Base Salary Range: $96,541.00 – $ (pay may vary based on experience, skills, location, and education).
