Overview
Repair and Tool Technician role at The Home Depot. This position involves evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. Technicians work in store Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.
- Provide equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained.
- In-store duties include serving Tool Rental customers, writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, verifying tool operation, and demonstrating proper use as needed.
- Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department.
- In non-store locations, ensure units are repaired, tested for quality, and cleaned before returning to the originating store.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of tools and effectively manage tool inventory, including repairs as necessary.
$24.00/hr
