Flex Security Officer - Watsonville

Overview

Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in the Watsonville, CA area.

The Flex Officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes, enabling Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to customers.

• Work varied shifts based on operational needs, including short‑notice coverage.
• Be trained at various posts and/or facilities and adapt to temporary assignments.
• Adhere to scheduling parameters, communicate unavailability, and work at least 80% of short‑notice calls.
• Perform duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Current California Guard Card.
• 40‑hour Emergency Services Training Certificate preferred.
• Dispatch, concierge, or customer service experience preferred.
• Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
