Schedule: M-F 8am-5:30pm to Start BUT will move to SECOND SHIFT in near future
Position SummaryAs a Material Handler I, you will drive industrial stand-up and sit-down lifts and specialize in warehouse transportation and materials. Your primary responsibilities include loading and unloading warehouse material, receive incoming orders, pick and build new orders, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency and recognize potential hazards in a noisy warehouse environment in which employees move about regularly.
Essential Functions- Pulling:
Learn different tier patterns and product sizing in order to build LTL orders, learn to use material locator software. - Issuing and Finalizing LTL Orders:
Learn to use SAP in order to assign lots and invoicing when finalizing LTL orders. - Gravity Rack Replenishment:
Manage rack replenishment and learn backstock locations. - End of day Cleaning:
Empty out all recycle bins and garbage containers at the end of his/her shift. - Operating forklifts and rider pallet jacks
- Bulk empty pallet stacking
- Restock all packing materials
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Must have experience driving standing lift
- Other duties as assigned

Computer
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of shipping computer software is required
- Basic knowledge of SAP is helpful
- Forklift certification is required (Standing Preferred)
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Six months to one year forklift experience required
- Ability to work safely, and to recognize potential hazards in a noisy warehouse environment in which employees move about regularly in the midst of heavy equipment in motion
