Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role oversees daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general ledger accountants.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Monitor close timelines and deliverables, review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze reserves and intercompany eliminations.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in collaboration with internal teams and senior management.
• Assist in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Drive process improvements and financial automation processes, including robotic process automation, AP automation, and Onestream.

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance degree required.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• 8+ years of Accounting/Finance experience, 1+ years managing people.
• Good understanding of business processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and produce high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems (D365, Onestream, Excel).
• Ability to analyze financial data and projections.
• Strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and detail‑oriented.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
