This position manages the front desk and reception area while providing administrative and office support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.
This is a full-time onsite position located in Wauconda, Illinois. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.# How You Will Contribute KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front reception area.
· Greet and assist visitors, vendors, applicants, customers, and guests.
· Answer incoming telephone calls, direct calls appropriately, and take messages as needed.
· Coordinate visitor sign-in procedures and notify employees of arriving guests.
· Ensure the lobby, conference rooms, reception restroom, and waiting areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
· Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
· Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail, overnight shipments, and courier services.
· Monitor and maintain postage, shipping, and office supplies.
· Order and maintain office supplies.
· Assist with visitor badges, safety sign-in procedures, and office security practices.
· Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.  PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma/GED Required
· Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate reception, front office, or administrative role.
· Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands.
· Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
· Ability to occasionally lift or move packages, supplies, and office materials up to 10 pounds.
