The Applications Technologist I position supports the development of a wide variety of beverage products.

The Applications Technologist I position supports the development of a wide variety of beverage products. We offer you the opportunity to:

• Optimize beverage based formulations with understanding of processing parameters.
• Screen flavors in various beverage bases.
• Complete selection and resample projects in a timely manner.
• Participate in routine taste panels to understand flavor language.
• Work collaboratively with sales and marketing presentations and demos for customers.
• Utilize flavor knowledge to select best flavor for each application and work closely with flavor creation team to optimize flavors when needed.
• Provide technical support on customer calls.
• Perform routine processing of batches (carbonation, analytical tests, etc.).
• Write basic production formulas with guidance of Senior Applications Technologist.
• Make minor revisions to existing formulas under direct supervision.

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science or other applied science.
• 0-3 years of application lab experience in beverage product development.
• Ability to work accurately, quickly and with good laboratory practices across multiple projects within the day/week.
• You must possess good documentation skills, and be adept at working within programs such as Excel, Word & assorted databases.

Salary Range: $56,000 - $76,000 The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
