Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

The Maintenance Technician supports equipment reliability and facility operations in a flavors manufacturing environment, working 24/7 across production, R&D labs, QC, and administrative spaces.

• Perform emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, motors, drives, valves, flow meters, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and basic IT.
• Document work in CMMS MaintainX and manage spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and services.
• Support cross‑training, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food, dairy, or pharmaceutical preferred).
• Experience with liquid processing and spray drying systems preferred.
• Ability to read PIDs, PFDs, and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with CMMS systems preferred.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Preferred: trade school diploma, military training, or an associate degree in a technical field.

Hourly rate: $24.00–$37.00.

Wauconda, Illinois. Onsite. Reporting to Maintenance Manager.
