Packing Operator - 2nd shift

The Packaging Operator I is responsible for packaging flavors (powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts) according to batch tickets. This role works closely with Batch Compounders and fills production orders from mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks, ensuring food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy.

• Pack production batches and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Record production and other data accurately on specified forms and documents.
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning.
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, supplies, and packaging materials efficiently.
• Learn and understand food safety concepts and their importance in making products.
• Promptly observe and communicate food or product quality matters to Shift Leads or Management.
• Consistently perform duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company safety policies.
• Consistently complete assigned duties without errors or defects.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Consume required materials using RF scanner and accurately report batch quantities.
• Attention to detail and basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessary.
• Must follow safety requirements, forklift policy, and wear required PPE.
• Problem‑solving and communication skills to recognize and report issues.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Capacity to learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to learn and consistently complete required documentation and record‑keeping.

Hourly Rate: $17 per hour. 2nd shift:
Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
