Clean Room Operator I
Responsibilities- Clean batch vessels, utensils, and equipment and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Record production and other data accurately on specified forms and documents.
- Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning.
- Learn and understand food safety concepts and their importance in cleaning the equipment.
- Learn and understand proper disposal of excess liquid waste.
- Promptly observe and clearly communicate food or other product quality matters to Shift Leads or Management.
- Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company’s safety policies.
- Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects.
- HS Diploma/GED Preferred.
- General knowledge of workplace safety and quality processes including GMP’s & Allergens.
- Ability to follow safety requirements and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel‑toed shoes, safety goggles and a mask as necessary.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematics.
- Problem solve and communicate when something is wrong to recognize/report the problem.
- When required for the position, the employee must be able to wear a respirator with Doctor’s approval and successfully pass the respiratory and pulmonary function testing.
- Ability to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessary.
- Ability to learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to learn and consistently complete required documentation and record‑keeping requirements.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
Starting rate: $17.00/HR Monday - Friday 6a - 2:30p. The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
