Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room, Advocate Condell Medical Center – Full Time

Department: 37703 Advocate Condell Medical Center – Surgery

Schedule:

Day shift, M–F, 0700‑1530 with 30‑minute response time call rotation 4‑5 call shifts a month.

Hours:

40 per week. Compensation: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience (Preference for RNs with surgical services experience).
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred.

• Strong communication and compassionate care skills.
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes to call assignments.

Advocate Condell Medical Center is a Level1 Trauma Center in Lake County, Illinois, with 275 beds, 12 operating rooms, and a newly expanded 32‑bed ICU.
