* Position Summary:

** The Applications Technologist I position supports the development of a wide variety of beverage products.

** We offer you the opportunity to:*
* * Optimize beverage based formulations with understanding of processing parameters.
* Screen flavors in various beverage bases.
* Complete selection and resample projects in a timely manner.
* Participate in routine taste panels to understand flavor language.
* Work collaboratively with sales and marketing presentations and demos for customers.
* Utilize flavor knowledge to select best flavor for each application and work closely with flavor creation team to optimize flavors when needed
* Provide technical support on customer calls
* Perform routine processing of batches (carbonation, analytical tests, etc.)
* Write basic production formulas with guidance of Senior Applications Technologist.
* Make minor revisions to existing formulas under direct supervision.  
** In order to be successful in this position we require:*
* * Bachelor of Science in Food Science or other applied science.
* 0-3 years of application lab experience in beverage product development.
* Ability to work accurately, quickly and with good laboratory practices across multiple projects within the day/week.
* You must possess good documentation skills, and be adept at working within programs such as Excel, Word & assorted databases.

we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a team player, engaging and able to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively.### ### Salary Range: $56,000 to 76,000### ### ### The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
