Position Criteria:
- Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
- Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Performance Criteria:
- Has an understanding of the teaching‑learning process and the necessity of working with the students.
- Knowledgeable about FTC Robotics – goals, purposes, structure, bylaws, educational initiatives, etc.
- Provide leadership development experiences for all members of the team.
- Assist students in developing a meaningful Program of Work and Calendar of Events.
- Oversee all functions of the team such as meetings, practices, competitions, maintain records and financials, fundraising activities, etc.
- Keep administration, local businesses, community, parents, teachers, school staff, and local media informed of activities.
- Keep members informed of activities at the regional, state, and national levels and encourage them to participate in all levels.
- Be committed to each student, welcome the diversity, and be a positive role model in actions and deeds.
- Travel with students to local and national activities and competitions.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
